Conway, South Carolina, Director of Marketing/Game Day Experience

Coastal Carolina University, an NCAA Division I institution, is accepting applications for the full-time position of Director of Marketing/Game Day Experience in Athletics. Primary responsibilities include the oversight of athletics marketing, gameday experience, and promotional logistics.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
•Perform duties associated with development, proposing, and implementation of marketing plans for purpose of encouraging increased attendance and enhancing the fan experience for ticketed athletic events developed in-house or in coordination with 3rd party vendor as directed;
•Responsible for decisions regarding advertising allocation through purchases and trade agreements to include, but not limited to, television, billboards, radio and internet display ads;
•Athletic Department liaison for development and implementation of on campus marketing efforts;
•Supervise the development of all promotional and event presentation elements used to create a dynamic environment within athletic venues;
•Responsible for collaborating as needed with Corporate Sales, Ticket Operations (including 3rd party vendors), Chanticleer Athletic Foundation, and Assistant Ad/Digital Initiatives for marketing strategies and implementation of strategies;
•Liaison between Department of Athletics and University related to University wide calendar of events; and
•Develop and direct promotions in conjunction with Multi-media rights holder or designee;

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree preferred along with experience with intercollegiate marketing, game promotional operations, promotional or creative content experience at a NCAA Division I institution.

Time-limited position with benefits (NS01042P). Salary range: $40,000.00 – $45,000.00. Normal work hours vary. Must be flexible to meet special scheduling needs of the University.
