Austin Bank is seeking a Deputy Marketing Director to assist the Marketing Director with the volume, quality, and predictability of marketing qualified leads and increases in our marketing-sourced pipeline to deliver continued increases in marketing-sourced revenue. In this role at our company, you will:
*This position reports directly to the President
*Deputy Marketing Director will work closely with the present Marketing Director during a transitional phase after which the Deputy Marketing Director will step into the role of Marketing Director.

Plan, develop and implement a marketing program that is in alignment with the overall Bank’s goals and strategic objectives.
Prepare, implement, and coordinate all aspects of the organization’s marketing plan including promotions, advertising, special programs, branch and community communications, and budget.
Oversee all communications including direct mail campaigns, email campaigns, signage, mass advertising (print, social, digital, TV, radio), event materials, and employee communications to meet defined goals
Analyze target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
Lead strategic initiatives as required.
Coordinate and enforce branding guidelines and standards across departments and business lines.
Assure all forms of advertising meet compliance requirements.
Assist in managing the marketing development, advertising, and contributions budgets.
Devise and implement innovative, effective campaigns to maximize income and target audiences. This includes any formative research, developing and implementing marketing campaigns to include content marketing, paid media, PR campaigns, print, social media, and promotions.
Provide knowledge, expertise, and leadership to the marketing team members ensuring they are well briefed, supported, and working as effective members of the wider team, and deliver on their objectives.
Work with the marketing team to oversee the organization’s content marketing strategy, playing a proactive role in creating and pushing out regular digital content in support of specific campaigns and wider strategic work to raise the profile of the organization.
Monitor, track, and report on the results of Marketing promotions and initiatives.
Identify and implement media partnerships where appropriate.
Manage relationships with relevant external partners and suppliers as required.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Other Activities

Provide strategic marketing support for all Bank departments and Austin Bank activities where required.
Develop and maintain a network of contact with marketing agencies, partners and suppliers.
Represent the Bank at external meetings/community events as required.
Attend events and meetings relevant to the role, some of which take place outside of regular office hours.
Ability to travel to meet the needs of the bank.
Serve on committees as assigned.

 
Marketing Manager Requirements
Our ideal Marketing Manager will have:

A proven track record of creating and implementing successful marketing and sales campaigns including all elements of the marketing mix.
Proven ability to lead teams to achieve outstanding results.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to juggle a substantial portfolio of simultaneous campaigns.
Budget management, data analysis, and reporting experience.
An ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally.
Excellent copywriting and editing skills, including the effective use of appropriate style and tone in a range of contexts.
A creative instinct, both in developing campaigns and in constantly evaluating how we can improve processes.
Experience in media planning with substantial budgets across print, outdoor and digital.
Experience in creating and sourcing original digital content.
Experience in using social media creatively as a tool for driving sales, engaging audiences and delivering excellent customer experience.
Must be comfortable with speaking in public.
Ability to handle confidential materials and matters with maximum discretion
Strong leadership, persuasive, encouraging, and motivating skills
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
